Voices lifted in praise, drums beating a celebration of life, hands clapping in time united in community—these were the moving sounds heard at this year's "Full Circle: Journey Back to Gospel" concert held at the Mount Zion Baptist Church in New Orleans. The concert sponsored by Ringing Rocks Foundation, hosted by noted singer Kim Prevost, and MC'ed by Rev. Timothy Howard was the second annual congregation of internationally renowned gospel choirs and jazz musicians joined in recognition of their spiritual connections and their joy in their communities.

Moving and uplifting, the evening saw performances by the Mount Zion Baptist Church Mass Choir, The Israelite Baptist Church Choir, The Philadelphia Apostolic Church Choir, Juanita Brooks, Davell Crawford, Topsy Chapman & Solid Harmony, Bill Solley, Fred Sanders, Edmond Prevost Jr., Clarence Johnson III, and many others. Throughout the four hour performance audience members were moved to stomp their feet and clap their hands. The energy level was so high that no one wanted the evening to draw to a close. When at last all the singers had sung their hearts out and all the musicians had jammed their praise of the divine, then all left the church feeling elated and ready to go out into their communities and spread the healing power of gospel.
