Mang Meh, Awreyah". The ingredient for healing the disease
is water empowered with the magic charm "Ang Asweryer".
The ingredient for effecting obedience consists of water empowered
with the magic charm "Asweryuh Ong Masam". The
means for counterattacking all kinds of diseases consists of water
empowered with the magic charm "Ong Taya I ya. Ong Taya
A I, yata A I Ong". The ingredient for healing cough with
bleeding and suppurating eye consists of water kept in a sibuh coconut
shell container with frangipani flower in it and empowered with
the magic charm "Ong Ai Ih, Ong Ih A Ah", after
which the water is to be drunk. The ingredient for healing eyeache
with pricking pain consists of water which is kept in a sibuh
coconut shell container with waribang (hibiscus rosa-sinensis
L.) flower and empowered with the magic charm of
[2a] "Ong Ang Ah, Ong Ah Ang".
The ingredient for purification (neutralization) consists of water
empowered with the magic charm "Ong Ang Ah, Ah Ang Ong".
The healing ingredient for flu with an accompanying fever consists
of water empowered with the magic charm "Ong A Ah, Ih Ah
Ong". Or any healing ingredient is applicable for all kinds
of diseases under condition that such as ingredient is empowered
with the magic charm "Ong Ang Ah, Ong Ah Ang".
The healing ingredient for stomachache consists of water empowered
with the magic charm " A A A, Ah Ah Ah, Ah A A A".
The ingredient for healing all kinds of diseases consists of water
which is kept ina sibuh coconut shell container with red flower
and empowered with the magic charm " Ong Ih Eh Ah Ung Oh
Ah, Ong Ih Ong Ih Ung". The means for healing high body
temperature consists of water with red flower empowered with the
magic charm "Ong Eh Ang, Eh Ong Ang, Ong Ang Eh, ngryam
madhiseng". The healing ingredient for all kinds of diseases
consists in principle of water empowered with magic charm. When
reciting the charm, the shaman is obliged to serve certain offering
consisting of such elements as sagi-sagi, 7 pieces of money, 7 handfuls
of rice, 3 pieces of betel vine leaves. The accompanying magic charm

the crown of the patient's head empowered with the magic charm "Ong
Ah, Ah Ong". The ingredient for vitalizing the blood consists
of water empowered with the magic charm "Ong Ah Ang, Ang
Ah Ung". The method of defeating black magic charms such
as desti, dengen, and babai is by using any ingredient empowered
with the magic charm "sasasas, sasa sangsaya".
The means for guarding the household compound against various evil
spirits consists of a handful of rice laid down on the houseyard
and empowered with the magic charm "Apah pasa A".
The ingredient for healing all kinds of diseases consists of water
empowered with the magic charm "A Ang, A Ang".
The magic charm for intensifying the force of a prayer is "Ong
Ang Ah, Ong Ah Ang". The ingredient for healing sickness
caused by animal poison consists of water empowered with the magic
charm "Ah Ih Ih A". The ingredient for causing
fear on the part of the enemy consists of a cross sign empowered
with the magic charm "Ong Ong Ong". What is meant
by this is

namely that of Ong in the middle of the tongue as the place for
the Goddess of Durga, Ong at the bottom of the tongue, and Ong at
the tip of the tongue. The accompanying magic charm is "Mryuh,
Ang Ah A". There is yet another magic charm, namely "Ah
Ah Ang, A Ang Ah, mryuh". The ingredient for driving such
evil spirits away as Kala, Bhuta, and Dengen consists of water empowered
with the magic charm "Ang Ung Mang, Ung Mang Ang".
The ingredient for releasing high temperature from the body consists
of water empowered with the magic charm "Uh Ah Aih Ih";
or with another charm of "Ah Ih Uh Aih mryuh".
The ingredient for maintaining high temperatrure in the body consists
of water empowered with the magic charm "Ing Ung Mang Ang
Ong, Ong Ung Mang Ang Ing". The ingredient for purification
(neutralization) consists of water empowered with the magic charm
"Ariyuah, Ong Ang Ung Ing Yang". The ingredient
for neutralizing animal poison consists of water empowered with
the magic charm "Ong Ang A, Ang A Ong". The ingredient
for intensifying the healing force of a medicine

"Ung Ang Ah". The healing medicine for the baby
still in the womb but lacking amniotic fluid consists of water empowered
with the magic charm "Ung Ang Ah,

for healing dangerous illness such as getting affected by black
magic charm consists of water empowered by the magic charm "Ong
Ang Ung Mang Ong Ang Ing, Ong A E, Mryuem". The healing
medicine for babbies with urinating problem consists of water empowered
with the magic charm "Ong Ae Se, Ong Ang Yang".

healing medicine for dangerous diseases, namely one consisting of
water empowered by the magic charm "Ong Ang Ung Mang Ah
Ang, Ung Ang Mang". The healing medicine for rheumatism
consists of water empowered with the magic charm "Oh Ah
Ih Ang, Ong Ong Ang Ung Mang Gang". The ingredient for
neutralization consists of holy water, five items of white flower,
saliva, 1700 pieces of money, complete with its accompanying offering.
Its magic charm is as follows: "Ong pungusyaki sang dewa,
idep aku anglukat bhatari durgga, apa bhatara guru sumusup ring
awak sariranta, anglukat bhatari durgga, kasmala tka geseng, geseng,
geseng, geseng, tka ngayang, ngayang, ngayang, Ong Ang seng, tka
atas, Ang, Ong tuhun dadi yeh, mnek dadi angin, tka muksah, tka
menter, apanaku dewa anglukat bhatari durgga, muwah mbanira, ingaran
I kali kalika, mulih maring akasa, Ang Ung Mang Ang siring sanghyang
sandewa bhatara wisnu

The healing medicine for the baby suffering from migrane, or what
is called kasuban, signalled by such symptomps as crying

meduri (calotropis gigantea dryand) flower and leaf of wani
(a kind of fruit) tree, all put in the sibuh coconut
shell container, to be used to sprinkle the patient. The accompanying
magic charm is "Ong idep aku sanghyang kamalatantra, metu
ring kundi manik, jeg tumurun ring lemah, putih pamatuhang sakwehing
dusta durjana, anyatur bhuwana, patuh tka patuh, patuh, patuh".
The medicine for banishing the blagodo illness (a kind of
vertigo) consists of plain water which is kept in a new pot and
filled with samsam (sliced temen leaf and flower), yellow
rice, white flower, and 1700 pieces of offering money. Its accompanying
magic charm is "Ong Mang Ah". The medicine for
releasing high temperature from inside the body consists of water
empowered with the magic charm "Ang Gang Gang Gang, dadi
yeh, dadi api, tka lelo lelontok". The ingredient for burning
(eradicating) all kinds of diseases consists of water empowered
with the magic charm "Ong Ang kalagni, ludra ya namah".
The magic charm when beginning to make medicinal mixture is "Ong
Ang Un g Mang Ang, Ong Mang Ung Hang Gang Ang, Ong Hang Ung A".

magic charm "Ong taya Ah Ih". The healing medicine
for headache consists of water empowered with the magic charm "Ong
Mang Ah, Ah Mang Ung". The healing medicine for fever consists
of water empowered with the magic charm "Ong Ang Ung Mang
Ing, Ong Ang Ung Mang A". The healing ingredient for warm
body consists of water empowered with the magic charm "Ong
Ing Tang Ang, Ih Ong Ang". The medicine for healing the
illness of nged consists of water empowered with the magic
charm "Ong Ih Ang, Ang Ong Ih". The medicine for
healing the illness of bengang consists of water empowered
with the magic charm "Ong Mang Ong, Ong Ong". The
medicine for healing oral ulceration consists of water empowered

[6b] Ang Ong Mang". The medicine
for healing fever (dumalada lanus) consists of water empowered with
the magic charm "Ang Ang Ah Mang, Ah Ang Ong Ung".
The ingredient used for bathing the patient who is suffering from
fever is inscribed with the magic word Ayang, and empowered
with the magic charm "Ayang". The medicine for
healing coldness consists of water empowered with the magic charm
"Ong Ang, Ong Ang Ung, Ang Ong". The medicine for
healing headache with dizziness consists of water empowered with
the magic charm "Ong Mang Ing, Ong Ing Mang". The
medicine for healing the illness of pamali (twisting stomachache)
consists of water empowered with the magic charm "Ong Ing
Mang Ang, Ing Mang Ang Oang". The medicine for healing
swollen consists of water empowered with the magic charm "Ong
Mang Ung Ing, Ang Uang Mang". The medicine for healing
oral ulceration consists of water empowered with the magic charm
"Oh Uh A I, Eh A Ing Oh". There is yet another
medicine for healing oral ulceration, namely water empowered with
the magic charm "Ong Ang Mang Ung Ing Mang, Ing Mang Ong
Ang Mang Ung, Ong Ma Mang". The ingredient for calming
the power (flow of breath) consists of water empowered with the
magic charm "Ung Mang Ing, Mang Ing Ung". The ingredient
for starting the healing process consists of water empowered with
the magic charm "Oang A Ang, Ing Ong Tayaha". This
is the medicine for healing fever
[7a] and smallpox, namely water empowered
with the magic charm "Ong A I Taya, Ong taya hiya".
This is the medicine for energy vitalization, which consists of
tridatu thread (red, white, black), to be fastened encircling
the right wrist three times accompanied with canang daksina effering
and 1700 pieces of money. The accompanying magic charm is "Ong
suksma parahyang, para dewa suksma kuta, suksma paribhuta, hilang
ywawaka, aweh urip, aweh urip, ring awak sarirane syanu, tka pageh,
pageh, pageh". The ingredient for saving life consists
of water empowered with the magic charm "Mang Ung Ong Ang".
The medicine for neutralization (purification) consists of water
empowered with the magic charm "Mryuh O Ang A A Ang Ung
Ah pet". The medicine for healing all kinds of diseases
due to animal poison consists of water empowered with the magic
charm "Ong Ak Ik Ung Ak Ek".
[7b] This is what is called magic science
of Sastra linggga kuta, which can make use of any means.
The distribution of its sacred syllables is as follows: Ong Ang
Wa Ung Sang Ang Mang Ung E Mang Ong. This is the ingredient for disolving all kinds
of disasters affecting us, namely clean water and various fragrant
flowers empowered with the magic charm "Ong indraku suksma
nama swaha". And here is the formulation of its sacred
syllables: Ong I A Ka Lyu Yang Ang Mang Ong Ah
[8a] This is the opening magic charm when
the shaman begins doing the healing, which used to be practiced
by many shamans, and this is the ingredient as well as the magic
charm used, which consists of water kept in a black sibuh
coconut shell container. Here is its accompanying magic charm/holy
syllables (see the previous piece of palm leaf manuscript). And
this is the explanation of the abodes of the four gods who unite
into one, the stage when it is called Windu Nur. Windu Nur
is the entrance for the four gods, namely the way for the gods into
and out of the two cosmoses, namely the macrocosmos and the microcosmos.
Its pictorial representation is as follows (see the palm leaf manuscript).
[8b] This is the sacred science of Sastra
Wyanjana or what is also called Kaputusan Siwagriguh,
which should be mastered and the mastery should also include that
of its application. Mastery should also be extended to that of sastra
panten, all kinds of makuta, including its sound and
its sound marker, and this should not be misunderstood, especially
in using its holy syllables, otherwise it would be dangerous and
could cause curse. "Ong saraswati abrasolah, pasastra nama
swaha. Ha na ca ra ka da ta sa wa la ma ga ba nga pa ja ya nya...(see
the palm leaf manuscript) aksa, windu sunya". And here
is the sacred science for disolving black cloud. The method is by
concentration while pointing to the sun. The accompanying magic
charm is "Ong murub ikang surya, geseng ikang megha, dadi
angin". This is what is called the pictorial presentation
of dasabayu...(see the palm leaf manuscript).
[9a] This is the formation of the ten
sacred syllables in the kastuban...(see the palm leaf manuscript).
As for the positions of the holy syllables in the body the following
can be said: the syllable ha occupies the imagination; the syllable
na occupies the liver; the syllable ca occupies the
bottom of the tongue; the syllable ra occupies the eyebrows;
the syllable ka occupies the ears; the syllable da
occupies the chest; the syllable ta occupies the eyes; the
syllable sa occupies the white part of the eyes; the syllable
wa occupies the hip; the syllable la occupies the
lips; the syllable ma occupies the face; the syllable ga
occupies the neck; the syllable ba occupies the shoulder;
the syllable nga occupies the nose; the syllable pa
occupies the legs; the syllable ja occupies the hands; the
syllable ya occupies the voice; the syllable nya occupies
love; windu occupies the bile; surang occupies...;
guwung kra occupies...; suku kembung occupies...;
cecek occupies all joints in the body.
[9b] Remember well the method of sounding
these syllables, their borders from each other, their positions
in the body, in the Usada, in the philosophy, in the Gata, in the
Ngadi, in the Pranawa, all in the form of digital syllables...Hang
Hang Hang. Hram Hram Hram. Hrem Hrem Hrem. Hung Hung Hung. Heng
Heng Heng.
