pure water, frangipani flower, 11seeds of galih rice (unbroken rice),

as: kelor munggi, kesawi, onion

kind of plant with dry stem, pointed and rough leaves) completed

of swollen stomach should be healed using ingredients such as for
remedy as liligundi (vitale trivolia), kantawali (a kind
of spreading plant with bitter taste), mungsi, nutmeg, and
vinegar. All of these are boiled and should to be drunk. The magic
charm is : Ong arah-arah ya atutur-tutur namah

3 slices of bangle, mungsi, and vinegar, of which the juice

The remedy for mental illness with the features of being scared
includes ingredients such as the root of red kekara (Dilicos
Lab LINN) (Kekara is a kind of pea with flat fruit), white
kekara which is already long-grown, and

mental illness which symtomizes in his/her heart). There
is another remedy when still there is no recovery. The ingredients
are : the juice of ginger-root and fennel charcoal salt. All of

for all kinds of mental illness. The ingredients are : Zingiber
and orange juice, teri ketuka, and charcoal salt. All of these have

pe- (My Deity of sexes, who creates problems in the patien’s

The remedy for mental illness, uses the ingredients such as : the
flesh of rerek fruit (a kind of fruit which has foam and
is used for cleaning silver and black stone), single onion, and
vinegar, to be applied as the nose and the eye drops. Its waste
is used for facial powder. The magic charm is : Ung
arah-arah, ngelimus ring atimu waras.
[7b] The remedy for mental illness
uses ingredients such as zingiber which must be inscribed with the
following kaempferia
galanga sliced and inscribed with: Bangle sliced
and inscribed with and a piece
of an old bettlenut leaf and the temurose (cucurma) must be inscribed:
when all
of these have been inscribed, they are put in one cluster, five
seeds of pepper, three seeds of pepper's tips, three seeds of mungsi,

mantranku (My God, in the form of sang rambut sudamala (name of
deity of hair), we hope that you help me treat the patient who suffers

The remedy for all kinds of mental illness use ingredients such
as: eatable mushroom with the tunggang meneng inscription,
bangle leaf with the following inscription ,zingiber leaves with
the following inscription: sa

it must be drunk and dropped into the nose and the ears.

There is also a mental illness called bebainan in which the

(pungut is a kind of wild plant, growing in tropical area,

LINN), sari kuning, the flesh of fragrant pumpkin and these
all must be kneaded with the water of sandalwood produced by rubbing.
The thick juice is taken and its liquid essence is dropped into
the nose. The meaning of the remedy is that

benang tri datu (three-coloured thread, namely red, black,
and white), and the magic charm is : Ang kala-kali,
luar ta engko kabeh, desti prekasa aksa yaksi, barong brare banaspati,
mundur rakita ring sabanta paran kita, aja kita ring kene, ring
raga walunane I yunu, apan aku sanghyang tunggal wenang aku sinembah(My
Hyang Kala Kali (name of deity), we hope that you leave the patient.
You are to worship me, Hyang Tunggal (another name for God).

When this mental case takes a long time for its recovery,
[13a] a worship for safety should be
conducted in the middle of a large cemetery completed with necessary
compensation offering which consist of : one catu of rice
(catu = portion, a measurent made of coconut shell), 2 grains
of coconut, 2 bunches of banana, 2 rolls of thread, money amounting
to 8880, sapangkon of rice (sapangkon is a measurement
usually used in the ceremony), the bowels (heart, lungs, intestine,
liver) of pig, sega agung (a kind of offering made of little
rice, flower, etc), two pieces of canang (a kind of simple
offering), peras penyeneng (it is also a kind of offering).
The magic charm is : kaki batara kala, ulun
amin tatamba, waras awake si anu, ulian pagawene sang manyakitin,
yan lara saking dewa, mulih maring dewa, yan lara saking desti,
mulih maring desti, yan lara saking buta kala Dengen, mulih maring
buta kala Dengen, yan lara saking pitara, mulih maring pitara, iki
panebusaning wong agering, wehan kadirga yusa waras, ong sriwaye,
nama swaha (My Bhatara Kala (deity of bad spirit), we ask
for remedy for healing this diseases and hope that you made all
illness get back to where they come from). There is another
offering for homage at Dalem temple (Temple where God,
as the Destroyer, resides) which consists of : rice
