Closing Announcement

It is with a bittersweet sense of accomplishment that we announce that Ringing Rocks Foundation is closing at the end of 2009.

We hope that this does not mean so much that a door is closing, but rather that it be an opportunity for another door to open. We do not know what this new opportunity will look like, but we remain confident that it will continue to honor the spirit of all of our ancestors.

Over the past 14 years, Ringing Rocks Foundation has meant many things to many people. To the wisdom keepers of the indigenous communities, RRF has been a bridge between their traditions and the modern world. To the members of the indigenous communities, it has been a reminder of the importance of preserving their unique heritage. To the folks who have read our publications or experienced our events, it has been a teacher. To the children who have been given the rare opportunity to learn directly from indigenous wisdom keepers, it has been a provider of a deeper learning experience in a time of constricting educational budgets.

In the weeks and months to come, we will open dialogs with other NGOs and nonprofit organizations to find a way for the important work conducted by Ringing Rocks Foundation to live on in another guise. We will keep you informed of our progress.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your interest over the years and for the support that you have demonstrated for our mission to conserve indigenous healing practices and cultural traditions.

Many Blessings,
The Ringing Rocks Family
